![]() | Name: 'Big' Gary Johnson WrestleGateshead head of operations
For many years, Gary performed a number of different roles in the Independent Wrestling Federation, starting as a ticket seller he later moved onto DVD production before rising to prominence do to his management of Bad Bad Leroy Brown and Ricky 'Van' Jan in the team of Big Gary's Vandals.
Ultimately, this team proved unsuccessful and Gary moved into the role that he became most closely associated with, that of ring announcer. Late last year, feeling burnt out, Gary left wrestling. He has though, been tempted back by the biggest job in WrestleGateshead. He is now head of operations.
Fear not, we shall not fall victim to what we see in many other companies. Gary will not become the stereotypical biased General Manager. He is contracted to make matches that people want to see and has no personal issue with any WrestleGateshead wrestler.
He brings with him years of trust from Northeast wrestling fans and fully intends to stay in those good graces.

![]() | Name: Brett Eagle Hometown: The Eagle's Nest Move: Brett's Prettier
Brett is an Independent Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champion. As such, he feels that he is above even having to prove himself in WrestleGateshead. Is he above the compeny? It is up to him to prove that.
Why is he here? Well, Brett is young and arrogant, perhaps rightly so. He IS very talented but he has also made himself a target. Will he learn to prevent his mouth getting him into trouble? The answer, sadly, seems almost certain to be no.
So, when, as it almost certainly will, trouble comes his way, how will he cope on his own? Tag team success has come his way in the past, success in singles competition has not.
When he stands face to face with an angry opponent and is unable to tag out of the ring, only then will we find out if Brett Eagle is as good as Brett Eagle clearly thinks.

![]() | Name: KATSU Hometown: Tokyo, Japan Move: Flying Knee Strike
KATSU is arguably the top talent in this generation of Northeast wrestlers. The youngster from Japan quickly became IWF'S Junior Academy Champion and has progressed from there throughout the IWF ranks.
Quick, brave and technically skilled, KATSU must be considered a top contender to the WrestleGateshead Championship.
He must be wary though, he must realise that his reputation precedes him. If he thinks his slight experience edge will make the rest of the WrestleGateshead easy pickings he will surely be quickly proven wrong.
Luckily for KATSU, his attitude, both in and out of the ring suggest that he will enter each match in the right frame of mind; Determined to ensure victory and determined to do it in the right way.

![]() | Name: Big Kris Hometown: West Denton Move: Wrecking Ball
Former ice hockey professional, Big Kris takes that straight ahead hard hitting into the ring.
There is more to him than that though, he has surprising speed and a surprisingly strong submission game. He is the biggest man in WrestleGateshead and has let us know that he is feeling VERY confident.
|
![]() | Name: Kitty Morgan Hometown: Sunderland Move: Kitty Twister (Bridging Neckbreaker)
Super popular in IWF, Billy Morrison's neice comes to WrestleGateshead to attempt to carve her own niche. Since 2005, there has been very little in the way of female wrestling in IWF rings. Kitty looks to bring back the days when the likes of Phoenix, Angel, Jetta and Courtney Synn lit up Northeast rings. However, although WrestleGateshead does offer female competition, Kitty has also made an issue of the fact that she is more than willing to step into the ring with wrestlers of each gender.

![]() | Name: Jack Flash Hometown: Chester-le-Street Move: Flash in the pan
He's been on the verge of a breakthrough for a while - yet something always gets in the way. ![]() | Name: Red Alert Hometown: Unknown
We know two things about this masked man: 1) He has obviously watched Kick Ass 2) He trains in his mask and bodysuit

![]() | Name: 'The Enforcer' Tom Anderson Hometown: Gosforth Move: Spinebuster
He is known as 'The Enforcer'. He uses the Spinebuster. His surname is Anderson... ...So, any relation? Well, no actually, but although he is not related to Lars, Ole, Arn et al, it is obvious that he has taken their ultra succesful style as a role model. If allowed to, he can dismantle and arm and his style may confuse those more schooled in flashier, more modern styles of wrestling. He holds a WrestleGateshead managers licence. He is one third of The Trinity.
|
![]() | Name: Emma May Hometown: Cramlington Move: May Day
Emma May is best known as the manager of 4-time IWF Champion Assassin. A great achievement, yet, it raises one niggling thought - Assassin was already the top name in IWF history before he was managed by May, so, does she have what it takes to take someone to the top rather than just keep them there? Loud and devious, she certainly has the credentials to do. Until she does though, doubts remain... She holds a WrestleGateshead managers licence. She manages The Masked Grappler.
|
![]() | Name: Stevie Lafferty Hometown: Berwick-Upon-Tweed Move: Frog Splash
Nobody deserves the chance more, Stevie makes the long journey down from Berwick to Newcatle in order to hone his craft. In an interesting trivia note, he lives in the same street as former Northeast Champion Billy Graham. A well rounded competitor, he has trained in boxing, various martial arts and acting.
He holds a WrestleGateshead managers licence. Following an injury at WrestleGateshead1, he was forced to retire and has, sadly, dedicated himself to finding a client to end the careers of others.
|
![]() | Name: Daniella Fierce Hometown: Newcastle Move: Facebuster
She competes as Gail Force in IWF and under a different name elsewhere, why? She isn't saying... Arguably the most vicious woman in the entire Northeast, Fierce is certainly an apt name. She has already announced two clients with whom she has signed managerial contracts. She has yet to announce who they are. She holds a WrestleGateshead managers licence.
|
![]() | Namr: Mark Anthony Hometown: Pelaw Move: Axe Kick
Mark Van Alpen was one of the top stars in the IWF. He twice came close to taking the IWF title from Assassin in thrilling main events. That was a long time ago... Mark Van Alpen is now known as Mark Anthony and has a lot to prove. Make no mistake, if he can wrestle at the same level as he did in 2002, he could dominate WrestleGateshead . If he can't, then his ego will not be the only thing that ends up bruised... ...Only time will tell.
|
![]() | Names: Nik and Sean Minto Hometown: Ponteland
Tipped by many as a team to watch in the future, Nik and Sean Minto come to WrestleGateshead with unclear motives. We do not have a tag team title, so quite what they hope to gain is, as yet, unknown. They will certainly be looking to team together but they may have to prove themselves as singles wrestlers. They seem to have the ability as a team. As singles wrestlers? They must think so.
